Everyone is aware that Christmas festival is celebrated on 25th December. But perhaps very few people would know that Tulsi Pujan Day is also celebrated on this day. Tulsi has always had religious, Ayurvedic, cultural, spiritual significance in Sanatan Dharma. On one hand the worship of Tulsi is important and on the other hand it is consumed as a medicine. Tulsi is also very beneficial from environmental point of view. There are many benefits of Tulsi like cleanliness and purity in the environment, pollution-mitigation, strengthening the roots of health in the family, etc. Anger is controlled by consuming Tulsi. Tulsi gives energy to the body. Tulsi is a beauty booster and a blood purifier. From the point of view of properties, it is a Sanjeevani herb. Talking about the properties, Tulsi is no less than the Sanjeevani herb. There are many types of Tulsi but Shyama Tulsi has been called a great medicine in Atharvaveda. Tulsi is also called Vaishnavi because of being dear to Lord Vishnu. French doctor Victor Racine says – “Basil is a wonderful medicine, which is very beneficial in the regulation of blood pressure and digestive system, increase of blood cells and mental diseases. Lord Mahadev ji says to Kartikeya- “Tulsi is considered to be the best among all types of leaves and flowers. By worshiping, chanting, meditating, planting and wearing Tulsi in Kaliyuga, it burns sin and provides heaven and salvation. One who preaches the worship of Tulsi to others and conducts himself, he attains the supreme abode of God. (Padma Purana, Srishti Vol: 58,131-132)

With the aim of benefiting the whole world from the benefits of Tulsi, Pujya Bapu ji started celebrating Tulsi Puja Day on 25th December. Welcoming this initiative, this day has been celebrated on a large scale. In Hinduism, it is considered revered and in Ayurveda, Tulsi is called nectar, because it also acts as a medicine. Let us tell that in the house where there is a Tulsi plant, there is always happiness and peace. According to the scriptures, Lord Shri Hari does not accept Bhog without Tulsi leaves. Tulsi is called by many names such as: Vrinda, Vrindavani, Vishwapavani, Vishwapujita, Pushpasara, Nandini, Tulsi and Krishnajivani. It is said that the person who recites this Namashtak after worshiping Tulsi, gets the fruit of the Ashwamedha Yagya.

According to the Skanda Purana, the eunuchs do not enter the house where there is a Tulsi garden or worship is done daily. The mere presence of Tulsi protects one from negative energies and evil thoughts. According to Garuda Purana, by planting, rearing, irrigating and meditating, touching and praising the Tulsi tree, the sins of human beings are destroyed by burning. Tulsi is not only worshiped on this day, but a Tulsi plant is planted from house to house as part of a campaign. Tulsi Pujan Day is celebrated every year on 25th December. Tulsi is not only a plant but a boon for the earth and for this reason it is considered revered in Hinduism. Tulsi is called nectar in Ayurveda because it is also a medicine and its regular use keeps you excited, happy and calm. No worship of Lord Vishnu is considered complete without Tulsi.

Tulsi is not only worshiped on this day, but on this day Tulsi is planted from house to house under a campaign. 'Ghar Ghar Tulsi Lagao Abhiyan' was started by Vedanta Seva Samiti and Mahila Utthan Mandal. According to medical experts, treatment of innumerable diseases can be found with Tulsi. Consumption of its leaves increases the immunity of common people. Tulsi plant also protects the entire environment from being polluted by providing 24 hours of oxygen. Having a Tulsi plant in the house also protects against germs and viruses. Now scientific inventions have also been successful in making it clear that Tulsi has a wonderful ability to generate electricity and keep the electric element alert in the body. Like scientists say that consuming so much basil does not cause cancer, but we have not chosen basil only to eradicate cancer. Our attitude is not only to eradicate disease, but to please the mind, to eradicate the disease of birth and death, to awaken the Bhagavad Rasa while living.

In order to know the glory of Tulsi for the entire world and to take its physical, mental, divine and spiritual benefits, revered Bapu ji, who wants good for all, has given a beautiful gift of celebrating Tulsi Puja Day on 25th December to the society. Now this day is being celebrated on a wide scale all over the world. We do many programs for the purpose of 25th December and inspire our children, youth and adults - all towards the values ​​and take them towards the great Indian culture. Therefore, all the sons of India should do 'Tulsi Worship Day program' in their respective streets and understand the pride of their culture and take advantage of it. उत्तराखंड के डीजीपी अशोक कुमार ने कहा जितेंद्र नारायण पर UAPA का मामला नहीं बनता

 

हाल ही में हरिद्वार की धर्म संसद में ,इस्लाम धर्म को छोड़कर हिंदू धर्म को अपनाने वाले जितेंद्र नारायण त्यागी (पूर्व वसीम रिजवी) का एक वीडियो फेसबुक पर वायरल हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने मुस्लिमों को लेकर बयान दिया, जिस पर बाद में विवाद उठ खड़ा हुआ | बता दें कि हरिद्वार के भूपतवाला क्षेत्र में 17 से 19 दिसंबर के बीच एक धर्म संसद का आयोजन किया गया, इस धर्म संसद के आयोजक जूना अखाड़ा के महामंडलेश्वर यती नरसिंहानंद सरस्वती थे | इसी आयोजन में मुस्लिमों के खिलाफ बयानबाजी का आरोप लगा था, जिसके चलते हरिद्वार के एक स्थानीय निवासी गुलबहार खान की शिकायत पर जितेंद्र नारायण अन्य के खिलाफ पुलिस ने केस दर्ज किया है | बयान का वीडियो भी सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ था और वीडियो के दौरान बच्चों के हाथ में तलवार और त्रिशूल भी देखने को मिले | “द हिंदू” की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार उत्तराखंड के डीजीपी, अशोक कुमार ने बताया है कि जितेंद्र नारायण के बयान से किसी की हत्या या हिंसा नहीं हुई इसलिए इस मामले में UAPA एक्ट नहीं लागू होता है | इसके साथ उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि विवादित वीडियो फेसबुक से हटा दिया गया है पुलिस नियम अनुसार  कार्रवाई कर रही है | आयोजन के दौरान बच्चों के हाथों में तलवार और त्रिशूल के संदर्भ में भी डीजीपी ने बोला है कि, यह उनकी परंपरा है, वहां कोई हथियारों की खरीद-फरोख्त नहीं हो रही थी और ना ही ऐसी कोई फैक्ट्री मिली है | अभी तक इस मामले में कोई गिरफ्तारी नहीं हुई है | पुलिस ने जितेंद्र नारायण पर एक अन्य केस दर्ज कर रखा है जिसमें उन पर अपनी किताब "मोहम्मद" के माध्यम से मुस्लिम समुदाय की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाने का आरोप लगाया गया है |

 Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said UAPA case is not made out against Jitendra Narayan

Recently, in Haridwar's Dharma Sansad, a video of Jitendra Narayan Tyagi (former Wasim Rizvi), who adopted Hinduism from Islam, went viral on Facebook, in which he made a statement about Muslims, on which controversy later arose.  Let us inform that a Dharma Sansad was organized in Bhupatwala area of ​​Haridwar from 17 to 19 December, the organizer of this Dharma Sansad was Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati of Juna Akhara. In the same event, there was an allegation of rhetoric against Muslims, due to which the police have registered a case against Jitendra Narayan and others on the complaint of Gulbahar Khan, a local resident of Haridwar. The video of the statement also went viral on social media and during the video, swords and tridents were also seen in the hands of the children. According to the report of "The Hindu", Uttarakhand DGP, Ashok Kumar has told that Jitendra Narayan's statement did not lead to any murder or violence, so the UAPA Act does not apply in this case. Along with this, he also told that the controversial video has been removed from Facebook, the police is taking action as per the rules. During the event, in the context of the sword and trident in the hands of the children, the DGP has also said that, it is their tradition, no arms were being bought and sold there and no such factory has been found. So far no arrest has been made in this case. The police have registered another case against Jitendra Narayan in which he has been accused of hurting the sentiments of the Muslim community through his book "Mohammad".

तुलसी पूजन दिवस 25 दिसंबर

इस बात से तो सब वाकिफ ही हैं कि 25 दिसंबर के दिन क्रिसमस का त्योहार मनाया जाता है। लेकिन इस बात को शायद बहुत कम लोग जानते होंगे कि इस दिन तुलसी पूजन दिवस भी मनाया जाता है।  सनातन धर्म में तुलसी का हमेशा से ही धार्मिक, आयुर्वेदिक, सांस्कृतिक, आध्यात्मिक महत्व रहा है | एक तरफ तुलसी की पूजा का महत्व है और दूसरी तरफ उसी को एक औषधि के रूप में सेवन किया जाता है | पर्यावरण की दृष्टि से भी तुलसी काफी लाभकारी है | वातावरण में स्वच्छता एवं शुद्धता, प्रदूषण-शमन, घर परिवार में आरोग्य की जड़ें मजबूत करना आदि तुलसी के अनेक लाभ हैं | तुलसी का सेवन करने से क्रोध पर नियंत्रण रहता है | तुलसी  शरीर को स्फूर्ति प्रदान करती है | तुलसी सौंदर्यवर्धक एवं रक्तशोधक है । गुणों की दृष्टि से यह संजीवनी बूटी है | गुणों की बात करें तो तुलसी संजीवनी बूटी से कम नहीं है | तुलसी बहुत से प्रकार की है लेकिन श्यामा तुलसी को अथर्ववेद में महा औषधि कहा गया है | भगवान विष्णु को प्रिय होने के कारण तुलसी को वैष्णवी भी कहा जाता है | फ्रेंच डॉक्टर विक्टर रेसीन कहते हैं- “तुलसी एक अदभुत औषधि है, जो ब्लडप्रेशर व पाचनतंत्र के नियमन, रक्तकणों की वृद्धि व मानसिक रोगों में अत्यंत लाभकारी है | भगवान महादेव जी कार्तिकेय से कहते हैं- “सभी प्रकार के पत्तों और पुष्पों की अपेक्षा तुलसी ही श्रेष्ठ मानी गयी है । कलियुग में तुलसी का पूजन, कीर्तन, ध्यान, रोपण और धारण करने से वह पाप को जलाती है और स्वर्ग और मोक्ष प्रदान करती है । जो तुलसी के पूजन आदि का दूसरों को उपदेश देता और स्वयं भी आचरण करता है, वह भगवान के परम धाम को प्राप्त होता है ।” (पद्म पुराण, सृष्टि खंडः  58,131-132)

तुलसी से होने वाले लाभों से सारा विश्व लाभान्वित हो इस उद्देश्य से पूज्य बापू जी ने 25 दिसम्बर को तुलसी पूजन दिवस मनाना शुरु करवाया । इस पहल का स्वागत करते हुए बड़े स्तर पर यह दिवस मनाया जाने लगा है | हिंदू धर्म में इसे पूजनीय माना गया है और आयुर्वेद में तुलसी को अमृत कहा गया है, क्योंकि ये औषधि का काम भी करती है। बता दें कि जिस घर में तुलसी का पौधा होता है, वहां हमेशा सुख-शांति का वास होता है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार तुलसी के पत्ते के बिना भगवान श्री हरि भोग स्वीकार नहीं करते हैं। तुलसी को बहुत से नामों से पुकारा जाता है जैसे : वृंदा, वृंदावनी, विश्वपावनी, विश्वपूजिता, पुष्पसारा, नंदिनी, तुलसी और कृष्णजीवनी  | कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति तुलसी की पूजा करके इस नामाष्टक का पाठ करता है, उसे अश्वमेध यज्ञ का फल प्राप्त होता है।

स्कंद पुराण के अनुसार जिस घर में तुलसी का बगीचा होता है अथवा प्रतिदिन पूजन होता है, उस गर में यमदूत प्रवेश नहीं करते। तुलसी की उपस्थिति मात्र से नकारात्मक शक्तियों एवं दुष्ट विचारों से रक्षा होती है। गरुड पुराण के अनुसार तुलसी का वृक्ष लगाने, पालन करने, सींचने तथा ध्यान, स्पर्श और गुणगान करने से मनुष्यों के पूर्व जन्मार्जित पाप जलकर नष्ट हो जाते हैं। आज के दिन केवल तुलसी की पूजा ही नहीं होती है बल्कि एक अभियान के तहत घर-घर तुलसी का पौधा लगाया जाता है। प्रतिवर्ष 25 दिसंबर को तुलसी पूजन दिवस मनाया जाता है |  तुलसी केवल एक पौधा ही नहीं बल्कि धरा के लिए वरदान है और इसी वजह से हिंदू धर्म में इसे पूज्यनीय माना गया है | आयुर्वेद में तुलसी को अमृत कहा गया है क्योंकि ये औषधि भी है और इसका नियमित उपयोग आपको उत्साहित, खुश और शांत रखता है | भगवान विष्णु की कोई भी पूजा बिना तुलसी के पूरी नहीं मानी जाती है | 

आज के दिन केवल तुलसी की पूजा ही नहीं होती है बल्कि आज के दिन एक अभियान के तहत घर-घर तुलसी लगाया जाता है |  'घर-घर तुलसी लगाओ अभियान' वेदांत सेवा समिति एवं महिला उत्थान मंडल द्वारा शुरू किया गया था | मेडिकल एक्सपर्टों के मुताबिक असंख्य रोगों का उपचार तुलसी (Tulsi) से मिल सकता है |  इसकी पत्तियों के सेवन से आम लोगों की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ती है |  तुलसी पौधा 24 घंटे आक्सीजन प्रदान कर संपूर्ण पर्यावरण को प्रदूषित होने से भी बचाता है |  घर में तुलसी का पौधा होने से कीटाणुओं और वायरस से भी बचाव मिलता है | अभी विज्ञानी आविष्कार भी इस बात को स्पष्ट करने में सफल हुए हैं कि तुलसी में विद्युत तत्त्व उपजाने और शरीर में विद्युत-तत्त्व को सजग रखने का अदभुत सामर्थ्य है। जैसे वैज्ञानिक कहते हैं कि तुलसी का इतना सेवन करने से कैंसर नहीं होता लेकिन हम लोगों ने केवल कैंसर मिटाने के लिए ही तुलसी नहीं चुनी है। हम लोगों का नज़रिया केवल रोग मिटाना नहीं है बल्कि मन प्रसन्न करना है, जन्म मरण का रोग मिटाकर जीते जी भगवद् रस जगाना है। 

सम्पूर्ण विश्व-मानव तुलसी की महिमा को जाने और इसका शारीरिक, मानसिक, दैविक और आध्यात्मिक लाभ ले इस हेतु ‘सबका मंगल सबका भला चाहने वाले पूज्य बापू जी ने 25 दिसम्बर को तुलसी पूजन दिवस मनाने की सुंदर सौगात समाज को दी है। विश्वभर में अब यह दिवस व्यापक स्तर पर मनाया जाने लगा है। 25 दिसम्बर के निमित्त कई कार्यक्रम करते हैं एवं हमारे बाल, युवा एवं प्रौढ़ – सभी को संस्कारों की ओर प्रेरित कर महान भारतीय संस्कृति की ओर ले जाते हैं । अतः भारत के सभी सपूतों को चाहिए कि वे अपने-अपने गली-मुहल्लों में ‘तुलसी पूजन दिवस कार्यक्रम’ करें और अपनी संस्कृति के गौरव को समझें समझायें और लाभ उठायें । जो ब्रह्मज्ञानी महापुरुषों के सत्सकंल्प में भागीदार बनते हैं वे संतों का कृपाप्रसाद पाने के अधिकारी बन जाते हैं ।

दून विवि छात्रों का धरना-प्रदर्शन

 

दून विवि में कुछ मांगों को लेकर विद्यार्थी धरने पर बैठे | उनका कहना है कि दून विवि में कुछ गड़बड़ी होने के कारण और छात्रावास में मिल रही मूलभूत सुविधाओं  की कमियों में के चलते वे धरने के लिए मजबूर हुए है|  उन्होंने विवि प्रशासन को पहले भी अपनी मांगों को लेकर प्रत्यर्पण दिया है ,लेकिन प्रशासन ने उनकी मांगों पर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया जिसके चलते उन्हें धरने पर बैठना पड़ा | छात्रों का कहना है कि विश्वविद्यालय में भर्ती को लेकर गड़बड़ी हुई और उनकी मांग है कि इसकी जांच हो और जो भी दोषी पाया जाएगा उसके खिलाफ कार्रवाई हो | छात्रों का यह भी आरोप है की विवि छात्रावास की भोजनालय में बिना टेंडर प्रक्रिया के काम दिया गया है |  वही छात्रावास के छात्रों का कहना है कि उन्हें छात्रावास में मूलभूत सुविधाएं सुचारू रूप से नहीं मिल रही जैसे कि शौचालय, वास वेशन  तथा  स्नान घरो की मरम्मत बहुत समय से नहीं हुई है,  जिसके कारण यहां -वहां पानी बहता रहता है | छात्रों का यह भी कहना है कि भोजनालय में खाने की दिक्कत भी है और पीने के पानी की सफाई की कोई अच्छी व्यवस्था नहीं है , जिसके कारण छात्रों को कर्मचारी लॉज से पीने के लिए पानी भर के लाना पड़ता है | वहीं अगर व्यायामशाला की बात करें तो बहुत समय से उपकरणों की मरम्मत नहीं की गई है , जिसके चलते उपकरण खस्ता हालत में पड़े हुए  हैं |  छात्रों का कहना है कि अगर प्रशासन उनकी मांगों को जल्द पूरा नहीं करता तो उन्हें एक उग्र आंदोलन करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ेगा | छात्रों का यह भी कहना है कि दून विवि में विषयों की  फीस अधिक है इस पर भी  विचार किया जाए | उनका कहना है  कि अन्य विश्वविद्यालयों की तुलना में दून विवि की फीस ढांचा बहुत अधिक है, जिसके कारण मध्यमवर्ग और गरीब  परिवारों के बच्चों के लिए इतनी राशि जुटा पाना संभव नहीं होता और उन्हें उच्च शिक्षा के लिए या तो वे शिक्षा से वंचित रह जाते हैं या उन्हें राज्य के अन्य दूर स्थित संस्थानों में जाना पड़ता है या राज्य के बाहर | अगर बात करें पीएचडी में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों की, उनका कहना है कि विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा  किसी भी तरह की साहेक धनराशि नहीं दी जाती है, इसके लिए उन्होंने शिक्षा मंत्री को पत्र लिखकर अवगत करवाया है लेकिन अभी तक कोई जवाब नहीं आया है |
